Do you allow food or drinks?

Who should I bring to my appointment?

No food please. Drinks, particularly clear liquids, are fine. Drinks that may cause stain and damage are ok but you are responsible for any damages caused to the store and/or our merchandise. Thank you for understanding.

Please go as light on make-up as you feel comfortable for trying on dresses. Heavy perfumes and make-up can saturate the wedding dresses and force them to be dry cleaned or worse. This increases the cost of doing business and that cost has to be passed on in the form of higher prices for everyone. Your Big Day - Bridal Shop does its best to make finding the perfect wedding dress affordable. We also think you are beautiful either way!

Bring the people who you really trust to give you advice about your wedding dress. Remember choosing your perfect wedding dress is challenging enough without having too many unnecessary opinions. Large parties can make the appointment take longer than needed and leave you wanting a do over. It is usually best to bring 1-3 people along.

What should I bring with me?

Kids are welcome if they are well behaved and are accompanied with someone other than the bride to watch them in the store. There are a lot of fragile and delicate bridal items which kids have a hard time not touching. We do offer Flower Girl dresses and welcome in-store try on if interested in purchasing or we can take measurements to place an order if we don’t have the needed size in-stock.

We welcome everyone but do prefer an appointment so we can give you the personal service you deserve. This also allows us to reserve a fitting room for you and your wedding party.  On days when we have our seamstress in-store, having an appointment allows her to block time to spend with you to answer all your alteration questions!

For tuxedo rentals you do not need an appointment. We just ask that you call the store first to see how busy we are and how quickly we can get you measured and ordered

Bring any pictures you have of styles you like, as well as, information on other dresses you have tried (styles, colors, likes & dislikes). Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to change in and out of. If you have any undergarments you are planning to wear such as Spanx, please bring them. We supply long line bras in store but if you have something you are more comfortable using please bring it. You may not know what shoes you are wearing yet but if you have an idea of the height of shoe that is very helpful! Bring along a pair that is about the height you are thinking.

All wedding dress and formal wear sales are final. Store credit may be issued for unopened, unused accessories but may be subject to a restocking fee.
